Rappoport, (0.) Yehoshua
(1895-1971)
   Australian Yiddish essayist, translator and editor of Polish origin. He was born in Bialystok, and emigrated to Australia in 1947. He wrote about the Bible and the Talmud and translated works from Russian, German, French and Hebrew into Yiddish. In Australia he was the editor of the newspaper Yidishe neies.
